Student Course Progress Information

Overview

Montford International College is committed to monitoring and supporting student academic progress throughout your studies. We maintain thorough records of your course progress and take proactive steps to identify and assist students who may be at risk of not meeting course requirements. This document outlines our approach to monitoring course progress and the support systems available to help you succeed in your studies.

As an international student, maintaining satisfactory course progress is a condition of your student visa. Students who consistently fail to meet course progress requirements may be reported to immigration authorities, which could affect your visa status.

Understanding Course Progress

Satisfactory Course Progress

You are achieving satisfactory course progress when you receive competent results in more than 50% of your enrolled units each term. If you are in your final term, satisfactory progress means you are on track to complete all course requirements by your scheduled end date.

Unsatisfactory Course Progress

Unsatisfactory course progress occurs when you receive not-yet-competent results in 50% or more of your enrolled units in a term.
